Facts about Hermione (Birthday Special)

Today I will be sharing some facts about Hermione, as it's her b'day so let's start-

1. She founded S.P.E.W

S.P.E.W stands for the Society for the Promotion of Elfish Welfare. Hermoine came up with S.P.E.W after seeing how Barty Crouch treated his house-elf Winky, at the Quidditch World cup.  She started S.P.E.W in her fourth year.

2. Her biggest fear was failing

Hermoine's biggest fear is failing, which is a bit obvious cause the way she worries about her exams and studies for them specifies that, But she is lucky she didn't face her biggest fear.

3. She used Sleekeazy's Hair Potion for the yule ball

The Yule Ball was the first time that Hermione's hair was described bushy. To do that she used the Sleekeazy's hair potion, which enabled her to change her appearance.

4. She had Buck teeth

The people who did not read the books may not know that Hermione has buck teeth. Emma Watson was told to wear fake buck teeth in the first movie, and she wore them, but because of the fake buck teeth, she was not able to deliver her dialogues properly so they decided not to use them.

5. She might belong in Ravenclaw

Hermione is known as the 'brightest witch of her age' which is true. Hermione does have courage but because of her cleverness, she might belong in Ravenclaw.

6. She is bad at wizard's chess

Yes, you read it right, Hermione was bad at wizards chess while Harry and Ron thought it was "very good for her." It does sound a bit shocking cause smart people are good at chess (but not always). I bet Hufflepuff's are good at chess cause chess needs patience.

7. Her Yule ball dress was blue

Hermione's Yule ball dress is originally blue but in the movie it is pink. (Fun fact- Emma Watson's fav colour is Blue).

8. She Created A Brilliant Form Of Communication For Dumbledore's Army

Hermione used magical ability to come up with a covert communication system for Dumbledore's Army. Members were given coins which were enchanted with the  Protean Charm. If for any reason, their meeting time needed to be changed, the coins relay the message, as Harry possessed the 'master coin' and the changes he made to his own would affect the rest. All the while, they looked like regular magical money, but the supposed serial number actually told members the time and date of the next meeting!
